Senior Manager, Government Affairs & Market Access_Shanghai
**Position summary:** This leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing Stryker China’s government affairs and market access strategy across all regions. The position focuses on driving impactful outcomes in reimbursement, public pricing, tendering, and billing code approvals. By leading a team of regional experts, this role ensures alignment, operational excellence, and strategic influence across key healthcare policy areas to support business growth and market expansion. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities:** _(Detailed Description)_ Key Responsibilities: + Develop and lead the MA strategy to support business growth and market expansion. + Manage and coach regional teams to ensure effective execution of: 1) Government tendering for medical consumables, with a focus on volume-based procurement policy development and implementation.2) Timely updates and applications related to medical service charge items, charge catalogs, and medical insurance listings. 3) Delivery of ad hoc policy and access projects at the regional level. + Ensure national alignment in policy interpretation and operational processes by standardizing best practices, tools, and workflows across regions. + Build and maintain strong relationships with regional government stakeholders, health authorities, and industry associations to enhance Stryker’s policy influence and business environment. **Education &** **Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree and above, major in Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health or related. + At least 12 years’ working experience in government tender of pharmaceutical or medical devices, market access or government affairs. + Have in-depth understanding of the current market situation and prospects of medical device industry. **Physical & Mental Requirements:** + Futuristic with excellent execution and learning agility. + Diligent and earnest, with a high level of responsibility + Outstanding communication skills and writing skills. + Proactive and positive, inspire others as a good cross-functional team player. **Leadership (People Management requirement)** Example: • Must be able to communicate with large groups of people. • Must be able to review printed materials. • Must be able to communicate telephonically. • Ability to use common office equipment (e.g. calculator, PC, fax machine, etc.) Stryker is a global leader in medical technologies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better.
