Senior Manager, Global Finance Communications Requisition ID: 231906 Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture. **Purpose** As a member of the Enterprise Communications team within Global Corporate Affairs, the Senior Manager, Finance Communications leads the planning, development and delivery of communications related to the Bank’s quarterly and annual reporting, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and regulatory initiatives. The Senior Manager also leads executive communications for the Bank's Global Finance department and Group Head and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), as well as the Legal, Corporate Governance, and Security (LCGS) department and Executive Vice President and General Counsel (GC). **Is this role right for you? In this role you will:** + Leads executive and internal communications for the Bank's Global Finance and LCGS departments, and the CFO and GC, including Town Halls and all-team communications. + Manages the Bank’s quarterly reporting communications, including preparing news releases for distribution, developing key messages/Q&As, and coordinating leader guides and other resources. + Leads the announcement of M&A transactions across the Bank by developing strategic communication plans, materials and work back schedules and executing on communications. + Partners with the Corporate Secretary’s office on delivering the Annual General Meeting. + Acts as project manager for the communications workstream of significant enterprise regulatory initiatives, including developing communications playbooks, strategies and testing documentation for financial regulators, and consulting on best communications practices for business partners across the Bank. + Supports broader enterprise-wide communications initiatives as required. **Do you have the skills to enable you to be successful in this role? We would love to work with you if you have:** + Degree in journalism, communications, or equivalent job experience. + Minimum of eight (8) years experience in a corporate communications or investor relations role in a complex, dynamic, knowledge-based environment. + Experience with Investor Relations or other financial communications in a highly-regulated environment. + Ability and willingness to work non-standard hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends. + Fluency in French and/or Spanish is an asset + Expert communication skills and exceptional writing abilities. + Demonstrated financial acumen. + Strong attention to detail and proven excellence in project management. + Strong knowledge of the financial services industry and/or a highly-regulated business. + A high degree of comfort briefing, supporting, and engaging with senior decision-makers or C-suite executives. + Proven ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships with colleagues across a range of functions. + Comfort working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, with an ability to remain calm under pressure. + Ability to balance multiple priorities and work independently. + Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to take on tasks outside of core responsibilities. + A commitment to curiosity, and professional and personal growth. **Working Conditions/Other:** + Mix of in-office and remote work, non-standard hours are a common occurrence. + Temp, full-time: **20 Month Contract position** .
