Senior Manager, G&L Prospect and B2B Marketing

American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) offers powerful backing and support that helps companies of all sizes gain financial savings, control and efficiency. We provide a suite of payment and lending products, solutions for travel and everyday business spending, cross border payments, global currency solutions, and business financing. The Global Commercial Services Marketing team is responsible for creating an end-to-end marketing strategy for our prospect & customer segments around the world.

Within Global Commercial Services Marketing, the Global and US Large Enterprises (G&L) Marketing vision is to deliver essential value to Prospects and Field colleagues through best-in-class B2B marketing.  We collaborate with trusted internal and external partners to create globally recognized marketing assets to support our marketing initiatives and Field partners. This team owns and drives all G&L Marketing programs and are looking forward to fueling continued growth in 2025 and beyond.

The Senior Manager, G&L Prospect and B2B Marketing will be responsible for owning the content strategy within the G&L Prospect & B2B Marketing team to power marketing and sales channels with thought leadership content. They will collaborate with Marketing Channel Managers, Product, Field Partners, Corporate Affairs & Communication, Legal and Compliance to define and execute content campaigns. This role will also work with external partners to develop content programming. 

 Key Responsibilities:

Create and execute a holistic thought leadership content strategy inclusive of third-party research studies and article content to drive engagement with G&L decision makers and influencers Develop a distribution strategy to ensure reach and engagement of content through all relevant marketing (experiential, site, paid media, etc.) and field channels, including field e-mail templates Partner with Experiential Marketing, Corporate Affairs & Communications, Field partners to plan and integrate thought leadership and value story content at key industry events (ex GBTA, AFP) Work with global field enablement to promote usage of content with prospects and customers Work with legal, compliance and brand teams to ensure that all content produced is compliant and accurate Monitor performance metrics and scorecard targets to provide insights to optimize our content strategy Lead a Sr Analyst responsible for content execution and reporting

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of relevant B2B work experience Proven content marketing skills, combining creativity and an eye for quality Previous experience supporting cross-functional initiatives (ideally working with GCO / LOBCO and/or Control management) Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive presence and ability to rally others around a vision Strong relationship management skills with ability to interact with partners across all management levels Curiosity, a willingness to learn & a sense of ownership and accountability Experience aggregating disparate data and developing concise and succinct recommendations

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
