Summary:
The Senior Manager will play a key role on the FP&A team, focusing on cash flow and working capital. This high-visibility role is responsible for forecasting, reporting, and analyzing cash flow in close partnership with Treasury, Accounting, and the broader Finance organization.
Reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A, the Senior Manager will lead and mentor a Senior Financial Analyst. The role requires strong accounting knowledge (ideally with a CPA) and the ability to connect financial reporting with forward-looking analysis. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to explain results, identify trends, assess risks and opportunities, and develop both bottom-up and top-down projections.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual working capital and cash flow reports for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure proper cash flow presentation using the Essbase/HFM financial database. Build and maintain cash flow and working capital projections, including budgets and forecasts. Develop financial models and tools to support decision-making and strategic planning. Analyze financial data and trends; prepare reports and recommend actions. Evaluate working capital initiatives, translating ideas into actionable strategies and supporting cross-functional execution. Partner with teams across Finance, Accounting, Treasury, and Operations to explain results, identify risks and opportunities, and drive improvements. Manage and mentor a Senior Financial Analyst, ensuring high-quality output and professional development. Support ad hoc financial and business analysis as needed.Education and Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field required. CPA and/or MBA preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Characteristics:
5 – 7+ years of experience, preferably in Big 4 public accounting and/or corporate FP&A with a focus on cash flow and working capital. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and concepts. Ability to bridge accounting knowledge with forward-looking financial analysis and strategic planning. Proficiency with Essbase and Hyperion Enterprise. Resourceful and able to work independently. Strong multitasking skills and ability to perform under pressure. Proven ability to build effective relationships across business functions and management levels. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
