Job Description

Overview:

Our Commercial Finance function provides oversight and support for our fast-paced, innovative, and global sales teams. By leading activities such as budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and close exercises, using analytical, forecasting, and reporting skills, you will help shape the commercial success of our business areas for senior leaders and the sales teams. You will develop robust skills as part of this fast-paced function by interacting with a broad number of internal business partners and building interpersonal capabilities to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews to support global senior directors and identify actions to improve the business.Work with divisional counterparts to ensure alignment between global requirements and regions.Support the forecasting and planning process in collaboration with Commercial leadership, Marketing, and sales structures.Support operative and strategic decisions and suggest corrective actions.Review appropriate commercial finance support mechanisms and implement changes as needed.Provide a leadership role in initiatives that will guide and develop the team into a premier finance organization.Complete special projects as requested, such as Go To Market strategies and integration processes.Lead, develop, and inspire your team to meet business and finance objectives.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting field.

Experience:

7+ years of direct working experience in a relevant finance role.5+ years of progressive people management experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Significant experience in a commercial finance role with strong financial competence and expertise in business engagement, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.Experience with large sets of data, with responsibility for the quality and integrity of results.Organized multitasker: able to prioritize workload in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Strong team-building skills working with a diverse group of people, even if geographically dispersed.Excellent communication and presentation skills to communicate analysis and recommendations in a concise, informative manner.Excellent skills with MS Excel are required; proficient user of systems such as SAP, Hyperion, Hyperion Planning, Power BI, Cognos, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Self-motivated, high level of flexibility, and strong work ethic with the goal to get the job done.Continuous Improvement: identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives through Practical Process Improvement (PPI).Exhibit leadership, initiative, and the company's core values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement.Perform other duties as assigned.
