You will oversee the development, engagement, and collaboration of 10 direct reports, as well as work closely with the Neptune 4 product project team.

This role is onsite and will require being in office 5 days a week.
What You Will Do
Lead and develop high-performing R&D teams by executing a robust talent strategy focused on attraction, retention, and engagement. Drive cross-functional collaboration to solve complex technical and business challenges using structured problem-solving methodologies. Manage high-complexity projects, including planning, budgeting, and staffing, to meet business goals and timelines. Translate department goals into actionable performance objectives for direct reports. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by overseeing design control processes and reviewing technical documentation. Support Voice of Customer activities and customer-centric design practices. Develop and manage cost center budgets and contribute to business unit-level financial planning. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to assess emerging technologies and shape technical strategies.What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in R&D or engineering roles. At least 4 years of direct people management experience. At least 3 years of full product launch life cycle experience in New Product Development.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in medical device industry.Demonstrated success in coaching and developing team members through performance management strategies. Strong understanding of the healthcare market and clinical needs. Ability to communicate complex technical and strategic concepts to diverse audiences.
