Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & StrategyLead a team of RCM professionals, including billing specialists and AR follow-up staff.Develop and implement strategies to optimize the end-to-end revenue cycle.Monitor KPIs to measure effectiveness, drive accountability and support continuous improvement.Operational OversightManage daily RCM operations including claims submission, payment posting and AR follow-up.Identify process inefficiencies and implement technology solutions or workflow improvements.Ensure timely and accurate billing and reimbursement across all dental procedures and services.Compliance & ReportingMonitor compliance with dental coding (CDT), payer policies, HIPAA regulations and other relevant guidelines.Oversee audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.Generate and present regular performance and financial reports to leadership.Stakeholder ManagementServe as a liaison between the RCM team, field operations staff, payers and third-party vendors.Partner with finance, operations and IT teams to align revenue cycle goals with organizational priorities. Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceMinimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in dental RCM, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership roleIn-depth knowledge of dental billing, insurance plans, payer reimbursement trends and denial managementProficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix and Eaglesoft) and RCM platformsProficiency with the Microsoft suite of applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and OutlookExperience with Power BI, Visio and Salesforce is a plus Strong analytical, organizational and communication skillsExperience managing remote or multi-site teamsExperience with Dental Service Organizations (DSOs) or large multi-specialty dental groups
