About the Global IT SOX Team
The Global IT SOX team safeguards Walmart’s financial reporting environment by ensuring robust IT controls and compliance with PCAOB standards. As part of this high-impact group, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT processes with industry best practices, supporting the integrity and scalability of Walmart’s control environment worldwide.
What You’ll Do
Lead and oversee IT general controls (ITGCs) and IT dependencies for annual SOX compliance.Collaborate with risk, technology, and business teams to align IT controls with PCAOB standards.Scope and execute the annual SOX program, identifying key systems and controls.Assess control effectiveness, report findings, and advise on remediation strategies.Support and enhance IT SOX frameworks during business transformations and modernization initiatives.What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, computer information systems, or related field.At least five years in public accounting or a related industry; CPA or CISA preferred.Deep expertise in ITGC domains, SOX compliance, and PCAOB standards.Proven ability to evaluate control design, identify risks, and implement scalable solutions.Strong communication skills to influence and advise cross-functional stakeholders.The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
