MAKING AN IMPACT
As a senior member of the driven and passionate Strategic Communications team, the Senior Manager reports to the Director, Strategic Communications and will develop and implement communications strategies and plans that drive revenue, elevate our mission, and protect and enhance CCS’s reputation with internal and external audiences. An experienced leader and communicator, you excel at providing strategic communications counsel to internal business partners and driving forward multi-channel communications plans to achieve shared goals and deliver results. The Senior Manager has experience in issues and crisis management and a comprehensive understanding of internal and corporate communications, executive or leadership communications, and video production. The Senior Manager is also adept at communicating via earned, digital and social media.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of progressive experience in a high-pressure, fast-paced, complex communications environment in a nationwide organization within the not-for-profit sector, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field Results-driven communicator, with proven experience in developing and implementing strategic internal and external communications plans Solution-oriented with a strong ability to build and sustain productive relationships with colleagues, media and external stakeholders or partners Experience and confidence working with and providing communications counsel to executive leadership Excellent written and oral communications skills, including ability to distill and convey information in a clear manner Video production experience, specifically managing video content needs and production timelines and requirements. Shooting and editing experience is an asset. Strong organizational, time management, project management, problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work at both a strategic and operational level Understanding of event production and management, both in-person and virtually Experience in the healthcare sector or with a health charity is an asset English is required, French/Bilingualism (French /English) is an asset due to the organization’s nationwide operations.Others may apply
