Join a purpose-driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture. **Purpose** As the Senior Manager, Client Pricing & Market Analysis you will contribute to the growth of Global Transaction Banking (GTB) non-personal deposit portfolio for Global Banking & Markets (GBM) and Canadian Business Banking (CBB). You will be responsible for providing and managing deposit and investment pricing at the client level, supporting GTB deposit sales and portfolio profitability targets/internal performance indicators. Key accountabilities include: Maintain high quality market intelligence on the competitive landscape and deposit products Understand market liquidity, regulatory environment, and other internal/external drivers of deposit growth Transparent communication with the sales force and other internal stakeholders Be creative to find solutions for client needs while aligning with business strategies and objectives **What You’ll Do:** + Work in conjunction with the sales team to adjudicate non-standard interest rate market pricing on deposit opportunities with the highest-value potential, achieving portfolio growth/revenue targets and client margins while maintaining competitive positioning + Expand the Bank’s base of deposit relationships with the goal of diversifying the Bank’s funding sources and managing/reducing concentration risk + Support standard pricing, discretionary pricing programs, request for proposals/operating account interest rate pricing, and conduct pricing reviews + Stay current on cash and liquidity shifts across focus industry sectors and changes in client needs and competitor actions + Ensure targeted deposits provide favorable treatment to the Bank under various regulatory liquidity rules and where required, to support development of unique deposit pricing structures + Contribute to ad hoc, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports/dashboards in conjunction with the Portfolio Management team + Collaborate with the sales team in gathering and maintaining a history of competitive pricing, industry best practices and identifying past and future pricing trends + Analyze and maintain internal reports for tracking purposes or to identify material changes in client specific deposit activity and determine if pricing adjustments are required + Support the design, development, and maintenance of pricing models, special projects and internal policy/process improvements **What You'll Bring:** + Post-Secondary Education completed in business, economics, finance, or related discipline + Detailed-oriented with the ability to digest complex information to inform decisions + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and obtain consensus among key stakeholders + Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, working both independently and within a team environment + Effective in strategic influencing to manage conflicting priorities/mandates/agendas as well as potential situations with strong differences of opinion + Understanding of money markets, interest rates and economic drivers in Canada, the U.S., and globally + Understanding of the Bank’s business deposit product capabilities. + Business Banking experience and an understanding of Basel and OSFI liquidity metrics and ratios is an asset **Interested?** If your experience is closely related but doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification, we do encourage you to apply - you might be the right candidate for this or other roles at Scotiabank!
