As a Senior Manager of Business Process & Controls at Spectrum, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our accounting and finance teams, maintaining governance and compliance for financial systems, and strengthening internal control over financial reporting. Your expertise will help safeguard Spectrum’s processes and drive effective risk mitigation.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Perform routine monitoring of rulesets for appropriateness and completenessProvide input to the security administrator(s) to implement ruleset modificationsIdentify changes with sensitive access and segregation of duties risks or issuesLiaise with the security administrator(s) to implement necessary changesWork with the business to identify or create and apply mitigating controls, as neededEvaluate all task and business role change requests for security impact and general appropriatenessEnsure end users have the requisite amount of system access while minimizing system and business risks of fraud or other improper actionsParticipate in project planning and implementation meetings to ensure proper controls are instituted in any system enhancements or major process changes within accounting and financeSeek continuous process improvements, promote standardization of processes and procedures and ensure effective internal controls are in place to mitigate the company’s financial reporting risksFacilitate User Access Review processes and liaise with the internal and external audit teams as necessary

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related field

Experience

5+ years of public accounting and/or consulting experience3+ years of management experience
