Senior Manager, Business Insights (BI) Job ID 2025-31535 Category Other Overview JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting to the VP, Planning & Analytics, this position is responsible for leading business partnering in the development of deeper insights and reporting across the functional areas of our business. We seek to build and enhance our analytic and data driven decision making capabilities, with both descriptive and prescriptive analytics – influencing and partnering with the business to inform decisions. We are a patient driven healthcare organization that is building a best-in-class business insights and analytics team to support our clinics and cross functional partners. This particular role will focus on leading a team and partnering cross functionally with key stakeholders to fuel data driven decision making and business growth.

Responsibilities GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Partner with business leaders to define KPIs and metrics, reporting requirements, and data needs across an assigned segment of the business.Analyze data and drive the development of business facing dashboards and reporting in support of existing daily/weekly/monthly business rhythmsLeverage tools such as SQL and Analysis Services to build reporting and analytics across key moments in our patient’s journeysBuild and manage business facing PowerBI reporting, as well as support creation and maintenance of new and existing data and reporting assetsDevelop a team and lead the business partnership to advance business insights in our pursuit of building deeper insights into the businessPartner cross functionally within the business to deliver actionable insights and results, leveraging your best in class data story telling skillset Qualifications GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data science, Business Administration, or equivalent is requiredMinimum 5+ years planning analytics experience, either within a Clinical Service provider (Dental, Optical, Medical, etc.) or within traditional retail/eCommerce environments supporting analytics and business insightsExperience working independently with large data sets to query data via SSMS or Analysis Services, and develop insights and forecasting models based on that data with the ability to source data independently via SQLExceptional strategic, analytical, and planning skills, including 3-5 years of experience with tools such as SQL Server, Analysis Services, PowerBI, Alteryx, and/or TableauExperience leading others, while coaching them to continued growth in their skillsetsStrong verbal and written communication skills to make recommendations to senior executives and influence Practice Owners / doctors, and other key stakeholders across the organizationProven track record of large-scale project management and process improvement with a passion for continuous improvementMust be a naturally curious, self-starter with an ability to work autonomously and a make-things happen business approachWork well under pressure and have a proven track record of exceeding expectations and delivering against deadlines Need help finding the right job?
