DESCRIPTION:
Join us as the Senior Manager, Internal Controls & Compliance will lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of the newly created Filtration and Separation (FSD) Division’s internal control environment.  This role is critical in ensuring a smooth integration by aligning control frameworks, policies, and systems

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in SOX/internal controls, strong integration and change-management skills, and the ability to partner cross‑functionally to embed a strong control culture during periods of transformation.

What will you do?

Serve as a key liaison with external auditors and internal audit for the conveyed and commingled entities.Lead internal controls and compliance activities related to a newly integrated businessPartner with integration, finance, IT, legal, and operations teams to align control frameworks, policies, and procedures across legacy and acquired organizations.Evaluate and enhance control design and operating effectiveness, particularly in newly integrated processes and systems.Lead remediation efforts for control deficiencies, ensuring timely and sustainable resolution and ensure timely closure of commitments made in representation lettersLead internal controls and compliance oversight for ongoing ERP deployments, system upgrades, and financial system transformations.Support the transition of acquired entities’ general ledgers into the company’s ERP and chart of accounts, ensuring control continuity and data integrity.Assess risks related to data conversion, system access, segregation of duties, and automated controls during ledger migrations and integration.Design, implement, and monitor controls to ensure accurate sales and inventory cutoff in accordance with accounting standards and company policy.Oversee periodic testing and analytics to validate the effectiveness of revenue and inventory cutoff controls.Oversee compliance with applicable regulatory, statutory, and internal policiesEnsure Capital policies and controls are consistently applied across legacy and newly integrated entities.Review and approve Capital business cases to ensure appropriate financial justification, risk assessment, and compliance with internal policies.Ensure Capital-related controls support accurate financial reporting, asset capitalization, and depreciation in accordance with accounting standards.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.8–12+ years of experience in internal controls, SOX, audit, or compliance.Demonstrated experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or large-scale integrations.Proven ability to lead complex initiatives in fast-paced, evolving environments.

Preferred

CPA, CIA or similar professional certification.Experience in a global, matrixed organization.Exposure to ERP implementations or system integrations (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
