How You’ll Make an Impact   

Lead the accounting team in preparing, reviewing and closing financial statements, journal entries and account reconciliationsEvaluate and manage staff performance while recommending staffing actions to leadershipComplete assigned workloads promptly, including revenue, capital expenditures, corporate consolidation and audit supportCommunicate effectively with personnel regarding accounting matters within your area of responsibilityCollaborate on special projects with other team members as neededEnsure timely completion of SOX work, including signoffs and documentationMonitor compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Sarbanes Oxley requirements and applicable lawsSupport budgeting and forecasting activities as needed

Required Qualifications   

Education  

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

Experience   

7+ years of general ledger accounting work experience3+ years of supervisory experience

Skills   

Ability to read, write and speak English clearlyStrong data analysis and interpretation skillsEffective written and verbal communication abilitiesOrganizational and prioritization skillsProfessional communication with employees, customers and suppliersSupervisory and motivational abilitiesProficiency with 10-key adding machineDemonstrated computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and AccessKnowledge of accounting theory and proceduresFamiliarity with SAP
