Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to lead equipment troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives in a high-speed, automated bottling facility. This role serves as a technical expert across a wide range of production and facility equipment, including injection and blow molders, fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, palletizers, and stretch wrappers. The ideal candidate will bring deep mechanical and electrical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to equipment reliability and uptime.

Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure equipment uptime by diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical failures across production and facility systems.Act as a subject matter expert on high-speed bottling and packaging equipment, including brands like Tetra Pak, Krones, Sidel, and Thunder Robopac.Lead and train operators, mechanics, and supervisors on technical procedures and best practices.Collaborate with plant leadership to drive continuous improvement projects and resolve recurring issues.Perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime and prevent future failures.Partner with other senior technicians to address cross-functional challenges.Use software tools to analyze performance data and identify areas for improvement.Lead overhaul and rebuild efforts during planned downtime to restore equipment to optimal condition.Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for troubleshooting and maintenance.Maintain on-call availability to support 24/7 operations and ensure facility uptime.Required Skills & ExperienceMinimum 6 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role.Hands-on experience with packaging and bottling equipment such as Krones, Husky, and Sidel.Skilled in operating shop equipment including hydraulic presses and power tools.Proficient in electrical systems including 480VAC and 24VDC, as well as PLC, VFD, and servo motor troubleshooting.Strong fabrication skills including cutting and welding (MIG, TIG, or stick).Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.Preferred Qualifications10+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.6+ years of experience leading teams or managing technical projects.blow molding, injection molding, packaging, or beverage production.Why Join Us?Be part of a collaborative, innovative team focused on growth and continuous improvement.Work in a clean, climate-controlled facility with a family-oriented atmosphere.Enjoy competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, pet insurance, and retirement savings.Work Environment & ScheduleBased in a modern, automated water bottling facility in Temple, TX.Day shift: Monday–Friday, starting at 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM for 8–10 hours.On-call availability required to support 24/7 operations.Facility is quiet, clean, and climate-controlled with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85280.00 - $104000.00/yr.
