Senior Maintenance Technician

As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you’ll work in a dynamic environment focused on processing secondary raw materials. In this key role, you will act as the first point of contact for the maintenance team, supporting them in solving technical challenges and complex equipment issues. You will coordinate daily maintenance activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of advanced systems. While this is not a formal leadership position, you’ll be a vital team player and technical resource.
Your Responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical contact for a team of maintenance technicians. Coordinate and support daily maintenance operations on mechanical and electrical systems. Troubleshoot complex equipment malfunctions and ensure quick resolution. Identify and propose improvements to enhance equipment performance and process efficiency. Conduct inspection rounds and suggest preventive maintenance actions. Ensure all safety protocols and work permits are properly managed and followed. Independently carry out a variety of maintenance tasks such as welding, pump and piping work, and electrical diagnostics. Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes. Promote a safe, clean, and sustainable working environment in compliance with quality and environmental standards.
Requirements
Diploma (Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering). Minimum of 4 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably in a production or industrial setting. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and a natural team coordinator. Solid knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
