Job Summary and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Facilities Supervisor or Manager, performs wide range of building trades, maintenance and repair tasks on buildings and equipment systems.
Assists appropriate personnel in responding to failures in sanitary and plumbing systems.Utilizes knowledge of medical gasses, plumbing and sanitary systems and safely isolate, repair and resolve to normal conditions.Assists the trades in responding to failures in building electrical distribution and special systems throughout the facility. Can identify electrical systems distribution and safely isolate, repair, re-energize electrical systems/components.Assists the trades to respond to failures in the HVAC systems or the refrigeration equipment. Understands building HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment. Makes proper adjustments and identifies repair needs and performs system adjustments through DDC controls.Safely accomplishes minor changes to the building components such as wall, casework or ceiling structures. Understands the building infrastructure of the facility. Performs small scale short duration wall component repair as well as small scale short duration ceiling component repair.Performs assigned tasks with high qualify workmanship by performing preventative/corrective maintenance on assigned equipment.Job Requirements
Minimum:
