Job Summary and Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our dedicated team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining, installing and replacing hospital equipment as directed on work requests. This includes conducting routine maintenance on following systems: Plumbing, Electrical, Patient Beds, HVAC and Refrigeration. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant environment for patients and staff.
Completes work requisitions assigned. Repairs, installs, replaces, and makes changes only as directed on work requests or as directed by supervisor/manager.Completes Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance work requests as assigned (training and/or education to be provided by Manager of Plant Maintenance or designee).Provides training for other Maintenance personnel in areas of expertise requested by Supervisor or Manager of Plant Maintenance.Performs routine maintenance on following systems: Plumbing, Electrical, Patient Beds, HVAC, Refrigeration and Fire Prevention Equipment.Performs major corrective maintenance and adjustment on the following systems: Refrigeration, Ice Machines, HVAC ( Chillers, Air Handler, and Cooling Towers), Pneumatic and Electromechanical Controls, High and Low Pressure Boilers, Pumps and Motors, Energy Management Control System.Job Requirements
Minimum:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Five (5) years experience in a general maintenance or similar position.Specialized training and/or experience in three or more of the following areas: Refrigeration certification, HVAC (Chillers, Air Handlers, Cooling Towers), Pneumatic or Electromechanical controls, Boilers, Water treatment,Plumbing, Electrical, Pumps and Motors, Energy Management Control System.Where You'll Work
