This role is part of the HK Operations team and is responsible for managing the logistics activities for Hong Kong. This role will primarily be responsible managing international inbound shipments & in-country logistics activities in the market working closely with the 3PL vendor & other logistics partners.

 

This role will manage day to day operations as well as set & improve processes covering inbound logistics, warehousing & transportation as well as work closely with customers service / order management teams to support the customers in Hong Kong while working closely with cross functional team within Stryker.

What you will do

Acts as the first point of contact for the 3PL management process, achieving this through a close working relationship with Suppliers, 3PL, Commercial and other internal or external teams.Work closely with 3PL providers to ensure the needs of Stryker to handle day to day escalations and ensure robust processes are in place.Work with the East Asia planning team on the procurement of finished goods from global manufacturers from cost effective freight perspective. This includes managing inbound shipments from multiple suppliers, working with freight forwarders to ensure a smooth & efficient operation.Manage any day-to-day escalations from customers/commercial teams to achieve the best outcome for our customers & businessOwn & analyze operational KPIs and work closely with HK Supply Chain Manager to build long term capability within team & with 3PL.Owns & manages the supply chain budget for Hong Kong, including freight analysis, and warehouse activity charges and short term/long term contracts & negotiations with various logistics vendors.Uphold the Compliance Culture and philosophy of the Company & ensure our operations / technical services functions operate in line with our clearly defined quality standards.

                                                                             

What you need

Required:

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or related fields3-5 years working experience in 3PL management in MNC commercial settings. Medical Device experience is an advantage.

Preferred:

Process Improvement/Project management experience is preferable but not required  JDE / SAP implementation experiences a strong plus.
