What you will do:

You will provide legal advice, guidance and support to HSBC’s Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) business and specifically to the Global Trade Solutions (GTS) business, with a particular focus on matters arising in France and, when required, HSBC Continental Europe’s branches, including matters that may be complex or may have some impact;You will be considered a trusted adviser to the business by ensuring that commercially sensitive, pragmatic and practical legal support and advice is provided in a cost-effective manner to CIB and the GTS businesses;You will ensure senior management in Local CIB and Regional GTS Legal is fully briefed on major issues arising in relevant business area and major legislative changes in area of expertise;You will liaise with other risk functions with oversight over GTS;You will provide support and guidance to CIB and the GTS businesses regarding legal risks arising in jobholder’s area of expertise.
