Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/diverse) with expertise in antitrust law to join our dynamic legal team in Hannover, Germany. As a key member of our Central Law Department, you will provide advice on all matters relevant to antitrust law within the Tire Group Sector, among others:
Reviewing, analyzing, and negotiating contracts and agreements of all kinds (horizontal & vertical aspects) e.g., supplier contracts, license agreements, cooperation agreements, terms & conditionsEvaluating market dominance related market behaviorStructuring meetings with competitorsEvaluating association activitiesSupporting in structuring M&A activities, including merger control filingsSupporting cartel litigation, including follow-on claims Supporting antitrust investigationsRepresenting Continental in antitrust relevant panels, roundtables, task forces etc.Elaborate and implement standards with respect to all types of contracts and any other topic addressed above impacting Antitrust MattersCommunication with antitrust authoritiesCollaborate with stakeholders inside and outside the Global Law Department with respect to Antitrust MattersCollaborate with the compliance department to foster a comprehensive and holistic coverage of all antitrust-related activities of ContinentalSelect, manage, evaluate and steer external antitrust counsel and spendParticipate in regular legal and business meetings to review and stay apprised of pending and upcoming projects with antitrust relevanceUnderstand the legal landscape of antitrust and monitor and report on changes and trendsQualificationsFully qualified lawyer (m/f/diverse) with bar admission or comparable qualificationExperience as a fully qualified lawyer in a law firm, corporation, or bothSeveral years of practical experience with antitrust matters (horizontal & vertical aspects, market dominance, cartel litigation, antitrust investigations, trainings in antitrust matters, antitrust due diligence)Experience in the Tire industry is a plusStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex matters clearly and professionally.
