Senior Lead Strategy & Planning Consultant - Global Supply Chain Operations

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Sr. Lead Strategy and Planning Consultant to bridge the gap between business objectives, process integration and technology solutions within our global supply chain operations. This role is critical in aligning enterprise supply chain strategies with advanced digital capabilities and architectural best practices. The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of business acumen, process expertise, and technical fluency to drive transformation across the source to pay and third-party risk management lifecycle.


In this role, you will:

Act as an advisor to leadershipDevelop or influence highly complex business and technical needs across groups and functionsProvide principal level strategic consulting services to client organizationsLead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challengesDeliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities and guidance to othersLead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challengesPartner with executive management across Wells Fargo to define the business strategy then create and execute corresponding business plans and initiativePlan, direct, and control the formulate strategic business objectives for assigned business unit


Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.


Desired Qualifications:

Strategy Alignment: Partner with senior business leaders to translate supply chain strategies into actionable technology roadmaps and architectural designs.Solution Design: Lead the design and integration of end-to-end supply chain solutions (contract lifecycle management, procure to pay, third party risk). ensuring scalability, efficiency, and alignment with business goals.Business Process Optimization: Evaluate and redesign business processes to improve supply chain performance using technology enablers (e.g., automation, AI/ML).Technology Enablement: Collaborate with IT, data engineering, and enterprise architecture teams to deliver integrated platforms (e.g., Contract Lifecycle Management, Procure to Pay, Risk).Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication, shared understanding, and effective delivery.Innovation Leadership: Assess emerging technologies and trends, developing business cases for adoption and investment to maintain competitive advantage.
