As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within a Technology Division, you will be responsible for leading a small team of Java developers integrating various technologies to deliver modern robust tooling. In the role you will need to prioritize work within the team, promote collaboration and enable others to succeed, you will be viewed as the SME for the Java portfolio of apps and expected to help design and solve complex problems leveraging your and other’s deep technical expertise.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Java with Springboot developer (v17 & v21, with view to continuous modernization)Integrating Java with other systems (Databases / Restful APIs, etc)Practiced in CICD, with understanding of managing risk whilst accelerating development Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and proficient advanced experienceHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAdvanced in one or more programming language(s)Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversightPractical cloud native experienceExperience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
