Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAdvanced in one or more programming language(s), specifically Java and PythonAdvanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., AWS, GCP, ReactJS Terraform, ETL, etc.)Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversightPractical cloud native experienceProficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life CycleAdvanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityKnowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systemsExperience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related technical field
