**Job Summary**
As a Senior Lead Software Engineer - Cloud Platform in the Corporate AI and Machine Learning Data Platforms Team, you will play a key role in designing and delivering secure, high-quality technology solutions that support our data and analytics strategy. **Job Responsibilities**
+ Design and develop creative software solutions for cloud-based platforms
+ Build, review, and debug secure, high-quality production code
+ Drive decisions that shape product design, application functionality, and technical operations
+ Lead evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical fit
+ Collaborate with development teams to deliver scalable, secure cloud applications
+ Stay current with cloud technology advancements and recommend new tools and approaches
+ Implement automation and continuous delivery methods to streamline development
+ Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost efficiency
+ Ensure application resiliency and security through best practices
+ Tackle design and functionality challenges independently
+ Support the firm's business objectives through innovative technology solutions
**Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills**
+ Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
+ At least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience
+ Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
+ Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language
+ Expertise in containerization and Kubernetes
+ Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
+ Experience with cloud infrastructure provisioning tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane, CloudFormation)
+ Advanced understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
+ Demonstrated proficiency in technical processes within cloud, AI, ML, or mobile disciplines
+ Ability to independently solve design and functionality problems
+ Strong collaboration and communication skills
**Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills**
+ Experience with Python or GoLang
+ Proven ability to develop automated solutions and scripts using Python
+ Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and optimizing infrastructure on AWS Cloud with a focus on cost optimization
+ Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, ELB, S3, Lambda, and RDS
+ Experience enhancing operational efficiency and reducing manual intervention
+ Knowledge of cloud security best practices
+ Experience working in a global, cross-functional team environment
