**Job Overview:**
We're seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to help us build reliable, scalable systems that elevate the user DevSecOps experience. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing key DevSecOps services, designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, integrating with essential systems, deploying service updates, and resolving production issues to ensure smooth and secure operations.
**Job Title:** Senior Lead Software Developer (6+ years exp):
**What You Will Do:**
Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines that integrate security checks seamlessly into the development lifecycle.
Implement automated security tools and practices such as static code analysis, vulnerability scanning, and compliance monitoring.
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to embed security best practices and policies from the start.
Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to ensure consistent, secure environments.
Monitor production environments to identify and respond to security incidents, performance issues, and infrastructure risks.
Develop and maintain security automation scripts to support threat detection, incident response, and compliance enforcement.
Conduct security assessments on applications, systems, and third-party dependencies.
Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance regulations, adapting DevSecOps strategies accordingly.
Provide training and support to development teams on secure coding practices and security awareness.
Document Development processes and create reports for compliance and management review.
**What You Will Learn:**
Work on enterprise-grade DevSecOps infrastructure in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Collaborate with external partners, 3rd party providers and internal stakeholders to identify and understand the functional or business requirements for enhancements and/or new functionality
Adjusting and customizing the system based on user feedback and transaction compliance
Analyzes problems and works with technical lead(s) and Product Owner/Stakeholders to determine solutions
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Applications, or related field.
6+ years of hands-on Experience with the core AWS services like Cloud Commit, Cloud Pipeline, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, EC2 , ECR, EKS etc..
Experience in Containerization using tools such as Kubernetes, Docker , EKS , AKS and Rancher or another container hosting technology
Familiarity in Gitlab, Jfrog, Grafana etc..
Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.).
Experience building and maintaining REST APIs
Experience with scripting tool/language like Shell, Bash, Powershell, Gulp
Experience provisioning infrastructure using Cloud Formation and or Terraform
Infrastructure configuration management and automation experience (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
Ability to create CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab, CodeBuild, AWS ECR, and Helm
Familiarity in the following AWS technologies: EC2, EBS, Security Hub, Config, SSM, SNS, SQS, S3/Glacier, KMS, Certificate Manager, Secrets Manager, CLI, NACL, VPC etc..
Experience with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code or other IDE is required as well as experience with git. Experience with other source code management systems is helpful.
Experience working in DevOps and/or DevSecOps environments
Expertise in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, subject matter experts, and developers across physical locations
Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues in distributed systems
Good understanding of Agile Development process focusing on Sprint Agile implementation
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
AWS Or DevOps Certifications
Excellent DevSecOps design and development experience
Excellent Communication skills with learning attitude
