Responsible for field instrumentation and control system design of oil & gas upstream, downstream, refining, petrochemical design for FEED and detail design phases Originate new and revise existing engineering deliverables Revise and check engineering deliverables against company procedures, standards, and checklists Supervise engineering work being produced by juniors Conduct and receive trainings related to job as required Planning and completion of work within allocated man-hours effectively and plan work to avoid slippage Interfaces, coordinates and communicates effectively with the project manager and other team members Delegation and distribution of work as well as manage billability of team Administer and maintain the SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation) system across all project phases Manage user access, roles, and permissions within SPI Ensure data consistency, completeness, and accuracy within the SPI database Coordinate with instrumentation, electrical, and other discipline engineers to manage data inputs and outputs Customize and configure SPI modules, reports, and templates as per project requirements Perform database backups, upgrades, and system maintenance Generate instrument index, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and related deliverables using SPI Support integration with other SmartPlant tools (S3D, SPEL, SPF, etc.) and external databases Conduct training and provide technical support to engineering teams using SPI Coordinate with all disciplines as necessary in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensure that other disciplines' input are incorporated Go for site visits and verify site conditions and markup drawings/perform as-built activities Manage deliverables submission with required quality checks and proper management of record Technical report writing and preparation of presentations Full knowledge of Aramco, Sabic and Royal Commission standards Technical bid evaluation, vendor document review and subcontract scope management QualificationsWhat makes you remarkable?

Expected:
Degree in instrumentation & control engineering or a related discipline Minimum of 10 years instrumentation experience and SPI administration within the oil and gas industry Minimum of 5 years at a senior level Knowledge in SmartPlant Instrumentation and/or MS Access is an advantage Must have prior experience in developing FEEDs and engineering flow diagrams (P&IDs) Proficient in SmartPlant Instrumentation (INtools) and other SmartPlant tools Extensive high pressure gas and condensate processing experience Good knowledge of upstream, preferably with an appreciation of the development of unconventional gas Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards is an advantage though not mandatory Self-motivated working, driven with foresight and own experience, within client project management teamsSame posting description for internal and external candidates.
