Overview

Our Middle East MEP Business delivers complex engineering projects across sectors such as high-rise towers, leisure and entertainment, hospitality, mixed-use developments, and cultural and public spaces, while ensuring safe, reliable, and sustainable design solutions that support environmental goals. We work closely with other disciplines within the Middle East business, including architecture, interior design, structural engineering, wet and dry utilities, land development, ICT and BMS, covering the entire lifecycle from new build to refurbishment and decommissioning.

Opportunities within our team range from consultancy services to client-side project delivery, as well as site supervision and operations, offering diverse responsibilities and exposure to global projects. 

Atkins Global Technology Centre (GTC) is seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Designer with 8 to 15 years of experience to join our Mumbai office. This role involves working on multi-disciplinary Middle East projects, focusing on delivering high-quality BIM and CAD outputs that meet international standards. 

Your role

Responsibilities:

Electrical BIM modeller who should be able to produce drawings and BIM model with minimum supervisionCo-ordination of CAD and BIM model input to multi-disciplinary projectsPreparation and presentation of progress for discussion at meetingsShould be well versed with AutoCAD

Requirements:

Knowledge of multidisciplinary and multiregional project to comply with the relevant CAD/BIM StandardAbility to read & interpret engineering drawings & specificationsAbility to work using Engineers calculations and design in producing drawings / 3D modellingKnowledge of Building design processes working within a multiple discipline engineering environment, and within a project and commercially focused business; Identify, interpret and apply required industry/ client/ internal CAD/BIM standards. To ensure that our finished product is Project, Client and BIM compliantWork independently and take proactive initiativeSelf-motivated developmentCompetent to check the workAble to present / represent their technical workWorking knowledge of standard codes and EDMS (Electronic Data Management SystemShows flexibility in work tasks and locationsResponsible for completion of specifically assigned tasks to time and cost

About you

Qualification

Diploma/Degree with minimum 8 - 15 years of relevant experience

Required attributes

BIM Designer with relevant Diploma/Engineering as required. Delivering of CAD/BIM work with minimal supervision.
