The Opportunity:

You will be a lead engineer who will design, implement, debug, and maintain complex telecommunications systems and related test equipment and supporting IT systems in a laboratory environment that contributes to the mission and operational success of CACI customers.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain complex telecommunications and IP/computer networking equipmentWork with product development and testing teams to identify and implement creative solutions to problemsMonitor, diagnose and repair platform hardware and system configurationsAct as the technical liaison to customers in representing key issuesOperate effectively and comfortably in a team environment, as a team member and as a team leader.Provide input on budgetary estimates for lab environment changes and upgradesPrioritize work including meeting schedules, identifying risks and delivering high quality testing environmentsUnderstand and adhere to all CACI Ethical and Compliance policiesProactively ensure a safe work environment and adhere to CACI EH&S policies and procedures

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical disciplineMinimum of 7 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experiencePrevious experience leading a team working as both a technical engineer and a people manager.Knowledge of current and legacy wireline and wireless communication systems and protocolsAbility to use packet capture tools to verify and debug call flowsExperience in debugging system-level issues with various lab equipmentKnowledge of IP networking and securityFamiliar with Windows, Linux and/or Unix-based operating systemsWillingness and ability to quickly learn new technologiesA TS/SCI clearance is required to begin employment

Desired:

Experience in database administration for telecommunication equipmentFamiliarity with server virtualization (VMware, OpenStack)In-depth knowledge of VOIP and SIP RFCsCCNA certificationsStrong oral and written communication skills, including writing detailed Methods Of Procedure (MOP) documentsAbility to work both independently and as a collaborative team memberFlexibility to adapt to new and changing environmentsKnowledge of Microsoft software applications

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$108,400 - 227,500 USD
