Responsibilities

Develop and maintain knowledge management (KM) processes that reduce redundancy through automation and build a centralized knowledge library that conforms to DoD OIG standards. Facilitate the creation, publishing and maintenance of knowledge content covering all IT services, ensuring accuracy, relevance and availability for authorized users. Implement processes and controls to govern knowledge contributions from both internal stakeholders and third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with policies and security requirements. In collaboration with DoD OIG leadership formulate and deploy KM strategies, establish performance metrics, and track effectiveness of KM practices.By embedding effective knowledge management practices ensure DoD OIG IT services operate with improved consistency, transparency, and long-term organizational value.Additional responsibilities include developing termination, and disposal plans for Programs of Record (PoR), ensuring proper administrative closure and knowledge retention.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Library/Information Science, Knowledge Management, or related field.8+ years of experience in Knowledge Management, IT Service Management, or Information Governance, with at least 3 years of experience in enterprise-level KM implementation.Active Secret security clearance.

Preferred qualifications:

ITIL Managing Professional or ITIL Specialist in Knowledge Management, Knowledge-Centered Service (KCS) certification, AIIM Certified Information Professional (CIP) certifications.
