We are looking for a Senior Key Account Manager (Discounter) for Beverage & Snacks categories to join our Sales team based in Istanbul. The role will directly report to Hard Discounter Channel Head. The purpose of this role is to build, roll-out & embed best in class project management on marketing innovations, promotions, activations, value engineering and renovation through stage gate, systems, data standards, & KPIs consistent in line with best practices & principles. Responsibilities Main Purpose of the role is to support sub-channel head in building and executing sub-channel strategy by working cross-functionally across all relevant departments; represent sub-channel team along category business planning process; ensuring communication, collaboration and alignment to deliver sub-channel results. Achieve volume and profit objectives within specifically assigned customers through productive relationships, planning and execution compatible with channel/company strategy. Achieve volume and profit objectives within specifically assigned customers through productive relationships, planning and execution compatible with channel/company strategy, Translate Strategic Business Plan to multi-year joint business plan with customer, Review customer analysis and performances with key conclusions and develop action plans, Develop customer specific plans that cover overall strategy, specific targets and tactics for range, merchandising, promotions, pricing, service and distribution, Clear volume & profit phased targets by brand, by account, Build the customer business plan according to priority KPIs of PepsiCo and customers, Develop a productive business to business relationship with the customers, Build and log a clear understanding of the customer structure, roles and individuals, Periodical visits to the customer to develop a trusted, mutually beneficial relationship at all appropriate points of interaction, Regular business review with all customer / company key people. Quarterly business reviews with primary contacts (category manager), Consistent high customer service: prioritisation and solving of customer ‘issues’ within agreed time frames, Clear understanding of how the customer makes key decisions, who owns / influences / implements them and builds relationships with key personnel. Facilitate multi-functional relationships between the customer and the company to influence key decisions, Complete all customer administration as required (eg. Promotional proposals, product files etc) Continually updated budget with exact status on every activity / invoice, Evaluation of all key customer activities within the plan (eg. Promotions). Qualifications University graduate Min 8 years experience commercial environment Excellent command of written and spoken English Strategic thinking skills Selling capability, negotiations, result orientation Ability to build and manage a cohesive and effective team Solid financial awareness and demonstrated ability to effectively manage budgets Worked (preferably led) in a multi-functional task force to improve business results with a customer, preferably done several category management projects
