The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Global Services (BGS) KC-46 Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Team is looking for a Senior KC-46 SEIT Systems Engineer to join the growing team in Tukwila, WA, or Everett, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for leading systems engineering, integration, and test efforts on the KC-46 sustainment program. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that systems meet performance, cost, and schedule requirements. This position requires integration across the engineering disciplines as well as significant integration with BCA and BDS stakeholders and our KC-46 domestic and international customers. We’re looking for strong systems engineering problem solvers to join us as we lay the foundation for the KC-46 sustainment program. Position Responsibilities:
Lead systems engineering, integration, and test activities for the KC-46 sustainment program, including but not limited to Block 1 Changes, Software Sustainment and Lab Development,Develop and maintain system requirements, interface definitions, and test plansCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure that systems are designed and integrated correctlyPerforms Technical Systems Integration of multiple engineering disciplines on highly complex projectsSupport statement of work (SOW) development to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirementsResponds to changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedulesIdentify and mitigate technical risks and issuesEnsure compliance with Boeing and customer requirements and standardsCompares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learnedProvides integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plansWorks under minimal directionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement5+ years in systems engineering, integration and testingExperience developing and maintaining system requirements, interface definitions and test plansPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with DOORS or similar requirements management software/toolsExperience in the aerospace industryExperience with military aircraftDrug Free Workplace:
