**Senior Java Full Stack Developer - Onsite** **Job Summary** We are looking for a **Senior Full Stack Developer** with strong expertise in both frontend and backend technologies to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with **Angular (or React), Java, Spring Boot** , and cloud platforms. This role requires a solid understanding of software engineering principles, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, hybrid environment. **Location: Sunnyvale - CA USA - Onsite** **Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship, now or in the future** **Key Responsibilities** + Develop and maintain full stack applications using **Angular (or React)** for frontend and **Java/Spring Boot** for backend. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features aligned with business goals. + Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and scalability across the application stack. + Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices to maintain code quality. + Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across frontend and backend layers. + Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. + Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure software reliability. + Optimize application performance and ensure secure coding practices. + Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. + Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions. **Qualifications** + 8-10+ years of experience in full stack development. + Strong proficiency in **Angular (or React), Java, Spring Boot** , and RESTful APIs. + Experience with **cloud platforms** (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. + Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices. + Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. + Experience working in hybrid or remote teams. + Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science, Information Technology** , or a related field. **Applications will be accepted until September 30, 2025.** **Salary and Other Compensation:** **Annual Salary** : $97k – $114k (based on experience and qualifications) Eligible for **Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program** , subject to performance and company policy.
