Your responsibilities will include: + Build and maintain robust Java applications using Liferay DXP, collaborating with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration. + Create custom themes, portlets, and modules tailored to project needs, while adhering to best practices for performance and security. + Connect Liferay DXP with third-party services and APIs to ensure smooth data flow across systems. + Conduct comprehensive testing and resolve issues efficiently to maintain high application performance. + Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation for code, processes, and system architecture. + Work closely with cross-functional teams including project managers, UX/UI designers, and fellow developers. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. **What you’ll bring along** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. + Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Java development. + Proven expertise in Liferay DXP (7.x or later). + Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate. + Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular or React. + Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing efficient SQL queries. + Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). + Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker). + Exposure to Agile methodologies. + Liferay certification is a plus. + Excellent command of both spoken and written English. **What’s in it for you** ✔ New beginnings can be a challenge.
