The Global IT Deliver team is part of the Global Operations and Supply Chain value stream and is accountable for the Warehousing, Transportation, Dangerous Goods and Trade Compliance systems.
We are seeking a senior-level experienced Senior IT Technical Analyst to join our team with a focus on design and configuration of our Logistics, Warehousing and (especially) Dangerous Goods applications, mainly focused on SAP ECC, modules LE and WM, though also overseeing some custom developed Dangerous Goods applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP requirements gathering, configuration and writing design specifications for development and integrations and has experience with communicating with business and IT stakeholders on project status on a global level. This ideal candidate has experience with the aspects of Dangerous Goods in inbound-, storage- and outbound distribution processes.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Consulting with business stakeholders to understand and evaluate current business processes and turning those into system requirements.Writing system functional specifications and support development teams during implementation phase with testing and quality documentation.Deploy new and current systems, processes, and procedures in a cost-effective manner.Configure system settings, plan, and execute unit, system and integration tests and lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems enhancements for SAP ECC, mainly focused on SAP LE – WM and on top any functionality to handle Dangerous Goods in SAP and custom-built applications.Stay current with industry trends on customs, trade compliance and emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the company's IT and business processes.Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.8+ years’ experience as an IT Business Analyst, IT Technical Analyst, SAP consultant or SAP implementation project member with a preferred focus on warehousing and distribution.In-depth knowledge of industry best practices and terminology related to distribution, transportation, and trade compliance.Understanding of IT change processes and/or SAP solution delivery processes.General understanding of supply chain processes.Excellent communication in English as well as collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with global cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.Minimum 8 years of relevant or adjacent experience required.Experience with full cycle SAP implementation projects.
