Senior IT Specialty Analyst - Remote
Overview

We are seeking a Senior IT Specialty Analyst to join our Revenue Cycle IT team, specializing in Accounts Receivable (AR) workflows within Epic Hospital Billing (HB). This role will drive efficiency and automation across insurance follow-up, denials, credits, and payment posting.

Key Responsibilities

Support and optimize AR workflows in Epic HB: insurance follow-up, denial resolution, credit handling, self-pay refunds, and adjustments.Leverage Waystar claim status integration to improve automation and reduce manual effort.Configure, test, and support Epic system actions to drive AR and SBO operations.Partner with operational leaders to resolve AR issues and identify process improvements.Support RMO, payment posting, and reconciliation activities.Contribute to SBO initiatives, including combined HB/PB statement workflows.

Education5+ years of relevant experience with a degree (Required)7+ years of relevant experience without a degree (Required)

Certification/LicensureEpic Hospital Billing (HB) certification (Preferred)Epic Hospital Billing (HB) Claims & Remittance (Preferred)

ExperienceRequired to have hands-on experience with AR workflows (denials, credits, insurance follow-up, adjustments)Preferred to have experience with Waystar claim status and AR automationPreferred to have knowledge of SBO system actions (payment plans, statement holds, self-pay workflows)Preferred to have familiarity with RMO, payment posting, and reconciliationPreferred to have experience with prior involvement in large-scale revenue cycle projects or SBO conversions

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for full-time employment is: $91,416- $152,380.80. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
