We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Solution Owner to take ownership of and drive the strategic direction for key finance IT solutions, primarily focusing on large-scale finance transformation projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing complex IT projects, a deep understanding of finance business processes (specifically invoice to cash and procure to pay), and proven experience leading diverse teams, including onshore and offshore resources, as well as external consultants. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and a strong sense of ownership to ensure the solutions meet business needs, are continuously improved, and deliver maximum value.
Responsibilities
Solution Ownership & Strategy
Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for assigned finance IT solutions, aligning with overall business objectives and IT strategyAct as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for the assigned IT solutionsMonitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvementManage the entire lifecycle of the solution, from initial implementation to ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and eventual retirementDefine and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and value of the solutionsProject Delivery
Lead and manage the full lifecycle of IT solution delivery for finance transformation projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and within-scope deliveryDevelop detailed project plans, resource allocation, and risk management strategiesManage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial guidelinesMonitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, implement mitigation plan and corrective actionsEnsure adherence to project management methodologies and standardsTeam Leadership & Management
Manage a mixed team of onshore and offshore resources, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedbackEffectively manage external consultants, ensuring their work aligns with solution goals and quality standardsFoster a collaborative and high-performing team environmentManage staff augmentation and implementation partner Statement of Work (SOW), ensuring deliverables are met and within budgetStakeholder Management

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred8+ years of experience in IT project management or solution ownership, with a focus on finance transformation projects preferredProven experience in managing large-scale IT projects with budgets exceeding $2MIn-depth knowledge of invoice to cash and procure to pay business processesExperience in implementing SaaS solution integration with SAP is requiredExperience with SAP Ariba implementation is highly preferredExperience with SAP ECC/S4HANA is preferredPMP certification is desiredExperience managing both onshore and offshore resources, as well as external consultantsExperience managing staff augmentation and implementation partner Statements of Work (SOWs)Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAnticipated salary range: $123,400 - $176,300
