We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Solution Architect Finance to design and deliver end-to-end technical architectures and integration blueprints for scalable, secure, and future-ready finance solutions within our Tax IT team. This role is pivotal in applying domain architecture to specific projects, use-cases, and roll-outs, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and enterprise standards.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelor or Master Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experienceProven track record of minimum 6-8 years in designing and delivering solutions across platforms such as SAP ECC, SAP DRC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP CFIN with a strong focus on finance and ideally on tax domainsDeep understanding of finance processes, ideally with Tax focusExperience working in global environments with complex regulatory and compliance requirements, e.g. around SAF-T, E-InvoicingExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business languageStrategic thinking and the ability to contribute to long-term roadmaps and transformation initiativesA proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on continuous improvement, problem-solving, and driving results in a dynamic environmentRelevant SAP Certifications (e.g., Financial Accounting and Management Accounting in ECC or S/4HANA). Certifications in AWS (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect), enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF), IT service management (e.g., ITIL) are a plusFamiliarity with cloud-native architectures, API integration, data migration strategies and AI knowledge/experience are a plus

Architecture & Strategy
Consult with the Domain Architect to support the strategic transformation of the Tax technology landscape by providing input on opportunities for modernization, rationalization, and integrationDesign scalable, secure, and future-ready IT solutions for finance, with a focus on tax-related processes, aligned with domain architecture and strategic goalsEnsure solution designs promote operational excellence, meet performance standards, and comply with internal and external regulationsProvide technical leadership on solution design and reviews for new solutions, leveraging modern technologies such as APIs, Cloud Computing, S/4HANA, and AISupport the assessment of regulatory changes on tax and finance systems, and contribute to proposing necessary architectural adjustments in consultation with the Domain ArchitectAct as a subject matter expert across the organization, supporting IT initiatives in the tax areaStay current with technological trends and innovations in finance and tax domains
Collaboration and Leadership
Lead discussions with central and market-based tax stakeholders to understand business needs, provide consultative guidance and make architectural decisions that best address those needsPartner with the Tax IT Portfolio Manager to ensure architectural alignment in portfolio planning and management, e.g. application upgrades, consolidations, replacements, or decommissioningCollaborate with Service Managers to ensure solution designs support operational excellence, maintainability, and service continuityProvide architectural input into incident, problem, and change management processes to ensure root causes are addressed and future risks mitigatedSupport the definition of service-level requirements and ensure solutions are designed to meet agreed SLAs and KPIsPartner with the Domain Architect for Finance to ensure tax solutions are aligned with the broader finance architecture strategy and roadmapCollaborate with peer architects across domains (e.g., Records to Report, Plan to Produce, Order 2 Cash, Supply Chain) to ensure end-to-end process integration and architectural consistencyContribute to architectural governance forums and design reviews to promote shared standards and reusable patterns
