**Introduction** The Senior IT Network Operations Specialist will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise network operations to ensure high availability and performance. This role requires strong expertise in network troubleshooting, proactive monitoring, and operational support for switching, routing, and/or firewall technologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex network issues and maintain a secure and reliable infrastructure. **Your role and responsibilities** Monitor network performance and availability using advanced tools and dashboards. * Perform Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting to quickly identify and resolve issues. * Manage and maintain Switching/Routing OR Firewall configurations and policies. * Respond to network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. * Ensure compliance with security standards and operational best practices. * Collaborate with engineering teams for network upgrades and changes. * Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and operational procedures. * Provide on-call support for critical network incidents. **Required technical and professional expertise** * +5 years of experience in network operations or network engineering roles. * Strong knowledge of Switching/Routing OR Firewall technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.). * CCNA certification (or higher, e.g., CCNP). * Proven experience in Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting using tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar. * Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network security principles. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle critical incidents effectively. * English C1 **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Advanced certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent). * Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible). * Familiarity with SD-WAN and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP). * Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management frameworks. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
