Position Specific Description
Join our dynamic Cyber Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team as a Business Analyst. This role plays a pivotal part in streamlining our NRC cyber inspection preparation process and enhancing the team's overall efficiency. By leveraging forecasting support, scrum responsibilities, and project analysis, you will ensure our team addresses critical issues related to manual tasks, large data volumes, and version control.
Key Responsibilities:
Forecasting Support: Analyze historical data and trends to predict future compliance challenges, enabling proactive intervention. Scrum Responsibilities: Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring alignment and team engagement. Project Analysis: Conduct detailed project assessments to identify inefficiencies and propose actionable solutions. Financial Responsibility: Track and forecast contractor resource spending, manage purchase order releases, and ensure financial efficiency. Manage NRC Request for Information Process: Coordinate and oversee the requests for information related to NRC inspections to ensure timely and accurate responses. Business Analyst Duties: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and manage requirements. Develop detailed business and functional specifications. Ensure alignment of project deliverables with business objectives.Qualifications:
A four-year degree in an IT discipline or a related field. Proven experience in business analysis within a cybersecurity context. Strong understanding of agile methodologies and scrum practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively. Experience in a collaborative team environment, with a focus on building trust and encouraging innovation.
