Job Description

Position Summary

Senior IT Architect needed to join GBS IT to craft secure, scalable software solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and design enterprise-class software solutions to support GBS functions (e.g., Procurement, Legal, Trade Compliance, Ops and Sustainability).Collaborate with multi-functional IT and business teams to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with strategic goals.Define integration strategies using enterprise level platforms and native APIs to support seamless data exchange.Support modernization and optimization of integrated, global software solutionsProvide technical expertise in relational database management systems (RDBMS) and server architectures.Guide the adoption and scaling of analytics and BI platforms like Power BI, Databricks Unity Catalogue and other tools.Partner with infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliance with data protection and system performance guidelines.Evaluate new technologies and vendors for strategic fit and value realization across GBS platforms.Qualifications

Required Experience & Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.5+ years of dynamic experience in IT architecture, with a focus on enterprise application and data integration.Familiarity with SAP ECC/S4 HANA, Oracle EBS/Cloud, and SaaS application ecosystems.Some experience with SaaS platforms supporting Procure-to-Pay, Contract Lifecycle Management and global trade compliance software.Proficiency in SQL server infrastructure architecture conceptsSolid grasp of cloud-based analytics tools such as Power BI, AWS, and Azure.Experience crafting and implementing scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions in a highly regulated enterprise environment.Preferred QualificationsCertifications in integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Architect) or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect).Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration.Solid grasp of Agile and ITIL practices.Personal AttributesClear communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrable ability to influence and lead multi-functional teams.Strategic problem solver with a pragmatic approach to technology delivery.
