Senior Inventory Planner
Job Title: Inventory Planner
Job Description

This role contributes to the company's success by leading the development of inventory forecasts for assigned business units, driving planning processes to support sales forecasts and established customer service objectives.

ResponsibilitiesSet inventory and service level strategies, recommending optimal inventory levels and providing options to balance cost versus service level targets.Partner with cross-functional teams to create strategies and implement assortment plan changes that reduce waste and increase margins.Identify opportunities to improve store sales and implement appropriate inventory strategies through analysis, recommending store-focused solutions to meet sales and financial targets.Use experience, insights, and data to anticipate trend shifts and implement preventative measures.Coordinate with others to respond to multiple, competing demands to ensure timely completion of work.Understand the necessary audience, including leaders, and tailor communication to promote collaborative responses.Gather inputs from cross-functional teams to craft collaborative messaging that accurately conveys complex situations.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience in supply chain and planning environment.Attention to detail and strong communication skills (written and verbal).Knowledge of inventory planning, replenishment planning, store allocation, and store supply replenishment processes.Analytical knowledge and the ability to clearly and concisely communicate.Quantitative and problem-solving skills.Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work independently.Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to present.Ability to work in ambiguous environments.Additional Skills & Qualifications4-year degree in supply chain or a related business field.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle BI, and O9 or IMS.Work Environment

Hybrid work environment, requiring 3-4 days on-site per week. The role is central and technical within the company, offering exciting work with local partnerships. It is a highly interactive position with cross-functional teams, providing a meaningful and balanced work-life experience.

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
