SENIOR INTERNATIONAL RELATIONSHIP MANAGER, TEAM LEADER

Lead Relationship Manager with a proven ability to gain a client's confidence and a growing share of the client’s wallet.Strong focus on gathering assets under management, deposits and loan production.Versed in banking, investments and fiduciary services with a proven ability to cross sell services.Acts as the quarterback for the team surrounding the client.Operates independently; has in-depth knowledge of business unit / function.Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise.Focus of role is on execution of strategic direction of business function activities.Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.

The ideal candidate will benefit from the following competencies:

At least 12 years in International Wealth Management with 10 plus years of experience as a Lead Relationship Manager.Has proven experience in client acquisition and has existing client relationships that will transition well to Northern Trust.  Knowledge and expertise of doing business in Mexico and proper protocol pertaining to clients, travel, hosting events, etc.Multilingual, with excellent oral and written communication skills, specifically in English and Spanish.In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required.Highly flexible and adaptable to change.Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Peoplesoft) is required.Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staff.
