Senior International Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior International Accountant to support our client's global accounting operations. This role is integral to ensuring accuracy in our month-end close, consolidations, reconciliations, and management reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in working across multinational environments. You will collaborate with tax, FP&A, and regional teams while contributing to process improvements and ad-hoc initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
+ Oversee accounting practices and workflows to ensure compliance and consistency during the month-end close process.
+ Perform timely reconciliations across multiple systems while supporting the development of local accounting teams.
+ Partner with the tax team on compliance efforts, including maintaining inter-company agreements and Transfer Pricing documentation.
+ Assist FP&A by gathering, validating, and preparing financial data for performance analysis.
+ Identify opportunities to enhance processes and policies; research, analyze, and resolve accounting issues.
Essential Skills
+ Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting, auditing, and international tax concepts.
+ Proficiency with reconciliations and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).
+ Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to meet strict deadlines and perform under pressure.
+ Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
+ CPA and Public Accounting experience preferred.
+ Experience working for multinational corporations preferred.
+ Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Blackline, or similar large-scale ERP systems.
+ 5+ years of general accounting experience (legal or service industry experience is a plus).
+ Experience collaborating with teams in Europe or Asia preferred.
+ High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), including functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
+ Strong technical aptitude with the ability to rapidly learn new software systems.
Work Environment
This role is fully on-site in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with frequent interaction across multiple levels of the organization. Flexibility to work overtime may be required during peak periods.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miramar, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
