Senior Internal Communications Manager
Join our Legal and Governance Central team, and the Internal Audit Division as a Communications Specialist, where you’ll combine your understanding of corporate communications with digital engagement expertise. Legal and Governance Central is a pivotal function at Macquarie, dedicated to safeguarding the organisation and providing comprehensive legal and governance support. Our Internal Audit function provides independent and objective risk-based assurance on the compliance with, and effectiveness of, Macquarie’s financial and risk management framework.

In this role, you will shape our brand, execute on our global communications and strategy messaging, and engage stakeholders across multiple channels—ensuring communications are clear and impactful in today’s digital landscape. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will demonstrate the ability to be agile – building and maintaining strong relationships, whilst driving multiple projects simultaneously across different times zones and shifting priorities. You will partner closely with both the Legal and Governance Group Central COO and Group Counsel, and the Head of Internal Audit and the Internal Audit leadership team. You will have access to the talented and diverse internal communications community to leverage best practices, connect with other specialists, and support your ongoing growth in communications. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Law, Business, Public Relations, or related discipline Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with an ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging digital content Demonstrated expertise in digital communications, including social media, web content management, and analytics Proficiency with digital marketing and communication tools Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and educate diverse audiences Creative thinker with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
