Senior Intelligence Analyst - ONSITE

GDIT is seeking an experienced Senior Intelligence Analyst to join our team at the Orange County Intelligence Assessment Center (OCIAC).

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

Lead collection, research, and analysis efforts in support of the center’s objectives, mission priorities, and law enforcement operationsWrite high-quality intelligence products, including threat analyses, strategic assessments, and briefing materials for a variety of audiencesUtilize publicly available information and review real-time threats for officer safety, providing situational updates and assessments to leadership and tactical decision makersMentor other analysts by reviewing products, sharing best practices, and contributing to their professional developmentCollaborate with interagency, federal, state, and local partners sharing various forms of intelligenceMonitor currents events, emerging threats, and relevant trends with potential impacts to the operational areaDevelop and maintain strategic analysis capabilitiesCollect data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processesDevelop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirementsPerform and lead additional duties as assignedLead special projects as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science preferred
● Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Security clearance level: Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance

● US citizenship required

A minimum of 8 years of research, analysis, and intelligence-oriented experienceExpert-level experience conducting intelligence analysis, trend analysis and formal briefsExpert-level proficiency in the intelligence cycleHighly organized with a strong attention to detailAbility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlinesProven ability to successfully engage and collaborate with federal, state, local, and tribal public safety agency executivesAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environmentExceptional writing and public speaking skills to include briefings of public safety executives and public officials at all levels of governmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Additional Requirements

Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed to support critical efforts and operations
 Must complete an Orange County Sheriff's Department (OCSD) background check, including a possible polygraph examination, before commencing employment or performing services at the fusion center
