Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain APIs for integrating third-party education applications * Build secure, scalable endpoints with authentication, version control, and messaging best practices * Test and validate API integrations regularly to ensure reliability * Implement translation layers to map external data structures to internal models * Collaborate on data exchange standards to support interoperability * Enforce best practices for public API service boundaries to ensure security and scalability * Coordinate with Data Engineering, Database Administration, and Cloud teams to support MDM, ETL workflows, reporting, and storage * Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations to maintain consistent data availability * Participate in software development efforts, including code reviews and collaboration for coding consistency * Provide technical recommendations to align solutions with enterprise architecture and strategic goals * Offer guidance on data handling, system integration, and technical implementation to support evolving data strategies
