Job Position: Senior Instrumentation Designer
Location: Office-Based (Qatar) Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Instrumentation Designer to support the NOC project. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in instrumentation & control (I&C) design, particularly within offshore environments. This role requires strong technical capability, hands-on experience with design software, and the ability to deliver high-quality detailed engineering and as-built documentation.

Key Responsibilities Develop and prepare instrumentation design drawings, layouts, and documentation for offshore facilities. Produce detailed design packages, including hookup drawings, loop diagrams, wiring layouts, instrument index, and cable schedules. Review and update as-built drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards. Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure alignment of instrumentation deliverables with project requirements. Support engineering reviews, technical discussions, and design clarifications. Ensure all deliverables adhere to industry codes, project specifications, and QA/QC requirements. Utilize relevant design tools to develop accurate and efficient design outputs. Required Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of experience in Instrumentation & Control design and engineering. Proven experience working on offshore projects. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD with 10–12 years of hands-on experience. Demonstrated capability in Detailed Design and As-built documentation. Preferred Skills Knowledge and experience with AVEVA design tools. Experience using ICAD (preferred but not mandatory). Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
