The specialist will work with FX Account Maintenance team members in all locations, other operational teams, and line of businesses to execute the operational objectives in serving customer needs. The responsibility areas will cover the front to back client data activities including account set-ups, reference data maintenance, off boarding and new business/policy implementation. The individual will also be participating in ongoing process improvements, record keeping, auditing, testing, risk mitigation, and issue remediation.
In this role, you will:
Assist in lifecycle support for corporate and institutional trade flow
Have direct responsibility in global FX account opening and maintenance functions
Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables
Contribute to large scale planning related to process, procedures, and efficiencies with internal and industry related initiatives
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
Provide leadership to bring groups together to resolve multi-faceted complex issues
Serve as a leader on projects along with internal and industry related initiatives
Exercise independent judgment and resolution to guide the deliverable
Lead team to meet functional area projects, and process deliverables
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
3+ years of capital markets industry experience
Strong knowledge and understanding of all capital markets products, industry trends, regulatory changes, and industry-wide best practices within Static Data processes
Proficient Knowledge of the Counterparty Data Management Processes and experience in client Onboarding, SSI data Setups for different Product lines and preferably FX and Derivative Products
Strong knowledge and experience supporting Foreign Exchange (FX), Derivatives and Money Market Lines of Business
Familiar and be able to operate FX systems of records including OPICS, CMR, CID, WCIS, and Calypso
Understanding of currency rules, MT messages, and standard settlement instructions is preferable
Experience with offboarding and entity management functions and key concepts
Experience partnering with offshore (non-U.S.) teams
Experience identifying and recommending process improvements in complex, institutional banking environment.
Understanding of key operational risk components, including quality across all aspects of a risk function
Ability to understand and work with data, including creating alignment among various data sources, developing trends, and creating risk-based analytics from multiple information sources
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to strict deadlines in a fast -paced environment
Demonstrating risk management discipline and problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
