Senior Inspector – Infrastructure (Water)
Finding a better way starts with clean water.
Strong, sustainable communities depend on safe water and wastewater systems—and we’re looking for a Senior Inspector who shares our passion for improving lives through infrastructure that works.
Your Impact:
As a Senior Inspector, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and safety of water, wastewater, and stormwater projects. From reviewing blueprints to monitoring active construction sites, you’ll make sure every system is built to last, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible. Each day, your expertise will help shape safer, greener solutions for the communities we serve.
What You’ll Do:
Inspect sewer and water systems to ensure compliance with codes, ordinances, and zoning regulations.
Review and approve plans, monitor construction progress, and keep detailed daily observation logs.
Conduct inspections at multiple stages of construction—initial, ongoing, and final—delivering clear reports on findings.
Apply your knowledge of construction methods, materials, and technologies (including cured-in-place pipe lining) to complex projects.
Work independently and collaboratively with engineers, contractors, and municipal partners to deliver high-quality outcomes.
What You Bring:
High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
5+ years of construction observation or inspection experience.
Strong understanding of construction standards, contract documents, and inspection techniques.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong math skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license; travel may be required.
Preferred: Experience with cured-in-place pipe lining technologies.
Compensation:
$33.65 – $40.14/hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and certifications.
Our Culture:
We are more than inspectors—we’re community builders. Our team is united by values of integrity, inclusion, and innovation. We believe in treating people with dignity and respect, and in designing solutions that reduce environmental impact and create a more sustainable future.
